At Inspire International Primary School, experiential-learning is embedded in the school program to help the students learn through stimulation and in a practical way. Apart from academic learning, School Curricular Clubs provide an opportunity to engage students fruitfully by facilitating ways to explore and strengthen their Academic skills and build upon Life-Skills.
The SchoolEnrichment Curricular Clubs are designed to enhance a child’s learning journey and foster skill-development. These clubs are carefully curated to align with our school’s vision of nurturing well-rounded, confident, and creative individuals. By encouraging curiosity, refining essential skills, and promoting collaborative learning beyond the traditional classroom setting, we aim to empower our students to reach their full potential.
Participation in these clubs offers our young Learners invaluable opportunities to explore their passion, cultivate crucial skills, and build a robust foundation for critical thinking, teamwork, and self-expression. These experiences will undoubtedly empower them to discover their unique talents and develop a strong sense of responsibility and self-assurance.

School Curricular Clubs
In The Home Economics Club, the students explored and developed understanding of budgeting, gardening, dining-etiquette, food safety and nutrition, thrifting, and upcycling, planning an event, and healthy-cooking.
Through the Visual Arts Club, the students tried their hands on creating Agamographs, stencil-art, abstract-art, creating pictures using pencil-shading. They also created little pieces of artful mosaics and explored the calming effect of art through zen-art. Our little learners, on Mother’s Day created little tokens of love for their mothers using fabric-painting.
The Heritage Club, which helped the students connect to their culture and the past through engaging activities. In a fun way, through art, craft discussions and hands on experiences, the learners learnt about history and traditions while developing a deeper appreciation for their roots. The students explored the word Heritage, examined archaeology, along with its imaginary discoveries using clay and waste material. Other sessions including exploring Warli and Madhubani as a heritage art form, making information brochures for Heritage around the world, Understanding the role of UNESCO through mind-mapping, celebrating World Heritage Day, and poster-making on the need to protect our Heritage.
Through the Language Arts Club, the students explored the world of Words. The Language Arts Club proved to be a fun and creative space where students were encouraged to imagine, build confidence, nurture a love for language, expressing their thoughts and ideas clearly. The students explored questions one must ask while reading, challenges one faces while reading and how to meet them, group discussions and accountable talks using ‘I Think, I Notice, I Wonder.’ Our little learners examined characters from stories through Character Chronicles and making predictions. It was amazing to see children dive into acrostic adventures, creating word-walls and using them, discovering main idea of a piece of text, developing their understanding of using time-order words and learning how to stretch a sentence to write creatively. As part of the club sessions, for each club, students were taken for educational visits to scaffold their overall learning.
School Curricular Club Educational Visits
At Inspire, we believe in scaffolding student learning through practical experiences. The students from each School Curricular Club were therefore taken for educational visits which helped them strengthen their understanding of the bigger picture pertaining to the club activities. With the aim to understand the aspect of food and sanitation, the students from the Home Economic Club were taken for an educational visit to The Dominos Pizza kitchen, where they took a round of the vicinity to understand how sanitation is maintained during cooking. In a fun way, children tallied cleanliness-checklists, baked their own pizza and tasted them as yummy treats. Students of The Heritage Club visited the National Museum to explore the discoveries of an archaeological site and understand how traces from history are discovered and maintained. On World Art Day, the students from The Visual Arts Club visited The Kiran Nader Museum of Art and attended a special workshop on artfully decorating Easter eggs, adding to their artful experience. The students from The Language Arts Club visited a public Library at Sahitya Kala Akadamiand explored the world of books.
The educational visits were appreciated both by the students and parents alike. We look forward to many more awesome learning experiences as the school year progresses.
